Spencer is our Technician of the Month! Our Technician of the Month rewards individuals for outstanding performance in efficiency. Great job Spencer – thank you for being 𝓓𝓻𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓸 𝓐𝓶𝓪𝔃𝓮!
After spending 10 years with the Ford Motor Company of Canada and 5 years managing Ford Dealerships in Edmonton my wife and I moved our family to Wainwright in 1998 to start Norris Ford Sales. Over the past 20 years Wainwright has a great place to raise our 4 children and gave us an opportunity to serve on boards and give back to our community. Teena worked with Wainwright Brownies for 6 years and together we served on the BSS Parent Council and BSP Fund Raising Committee. I have also had the pleasure to serve on the Wainwright Minor Hockey Board, the BSP Liturgical Council and Finance Committee and the K of C Council, where I was Grand Knight for 3 years. I was a Board member / Director of the Buffalo Park Foundation, served on the Twin Arena fund raising board, the Wainwright Provincial Curling Board and as Vice President of the Wainwright Chamber of Commerce, serving as Chair of the Annual Trade show for 3 years. Most recently, I served on the Wainwright Economic Development board and the Hospital Sub Committee. Wainwright has been very welcoming and kind to our family and it has been our pleasure to give back any way we can.
I have been with Norris Ford since July of 2008. After obtaining a Bachelor of Management degree and gaining experience in the public accounting sector, I knew that I would not be able to continue working long hours during busy tax seasons with two young children at home. Tony approached me with the opportunity to join his team, and I am so glad I took him up on the chance. I have a job that I love, and I can still be involved with my children’s busy school and extra-curricular activities.
After spending 13 years as Sales Manager at Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon, I moved to Wainwright to be part of the Norris Ford family in 2002. Wainwright has provided my wife, Yvonne, and myself a great place to live and to grow in both our personal lives and business interests. In 2007 we purchased the Wainwright Bowling Centre and added Dog 'N Suds Sports Lounge in 2008. This was always a dream of mine, to own a bowling centre, as I was fortunate to have been 3 times a Canadian National Champion in 5 pin bowling, along with winning the 1987 CBC Championship Series, and other bowling achievements. Wainwright, from the first day I arrived, treated me and my family like we had been here all our lives. A true quality of our community! Stop in any time, my office door is always open.
Connie joined the Norris Ford Family in 2007, and has served in several different roles since then. She has found a perfect fit in her current role as Service Manager, which she has held since 2016. Outside of work, time with family is Connie’s first love - but summer camping is a close second!
Fixed Operations Manager
After being born and raised in Wainwright, I spent some years away seeking the bright city lights, but there is something about this town that just always brings me home. My family and I came back in 2016, and I'm so happy to have found a place in the Norris Ford family again. When I'm not at work, I stay busy trying to keep up with our 5 kids, and enjoying time with friends & family.
Becky has 20 years of Ford experience. She started her parts career in 1996 and obtained her Journeyman certification 3 years later. With a leave to have and raise her family, she returned to Norris in 2009. Anyone who knows Becky knows that she is extremely friendly, helpful and above all knowledgeable. She’s been an asset from day one as part of our award winning team and we know that her leadership in our Parts Department will benefit our customers for years to come!
Collision Centre Manager
Todd is one of our pioneer staff members, who claims he "came with the building". Born in Wainwright, he started in the Autobody industry in 1991, a year after graduating high school. He has been with Ford since 1994, taking a small break to pursue his love for art in Okanagan College in 1996. He has been on the team ever since, and has been managing the Bodyshop since 2007. When not fixing fender benders, you can find him with his wife and two children cruising the outdoors on quads or off camping and fishing trying to catch the "big one".
Marketing and Communications Manager
I was raised in rural Alberta and moved to Wainwright in 2006. Although my lifetime goal was always to be a Ninja Turtle I decided that the Environmental Science Program at Lakeland College was another great option. Shortly after completing my program, I took another turn in my career path and joined the Norris Ford Family in 2011! I know that my career choices have been unorthodox at times but ultimately I landed myself a great position, with an amazing company, and I've made some lifetime friendships along the way.
Coby was born and raised in Wainwright and has lived here for the majority of his life. He loves playing sports like hockey, and shredding the powder on the mountains. Coby also loves helping others on a daily basis. After the birth of his third child, he retired from the Wainwright Fire Department in September of 2017 after 5 years of service. He now keeps busy with coaching his kids activities and getting involved whenever he can! He's been a part of our Sales team since 2010 and was part of a National Ford Employee Pricing Commercial in 2015! He’s always smiling, and welcomes anyone and everyone to come by and say hello, even if you’re not in the market for a new vehicle!
John began his career with Ford in 1970, at his family's dealership in Hughenden. He worked there for 20 years then moved to Warriner Ford in 1990. John remained part of the decor when it became Norris Ford and has been here ever since! John loves to ski and play hockey. He also loves to travel, especially to places where there is a golf course! John enjoys spending quality time with his grand children!
I ran through a slew of jobs before hitting my first 'real' job with a stint at Star News here in Wainwright. I was proud to write and photograph the local sports scene, and to write both an opinion column (that got me in trouble about as often as it earned me praise) and a gaming column, one that I've continued since leaving the paper. After 10 years with the local newspaper, I made the jump to sales with a job at Wainalta Motors. I picked up a lot about the sales process in just over a year there, and want to continue to learn after making the jump in 2014 to bigger opportunities here at Norris Ford. In my personal life, I've been a gamer since my parents picked me up an Atari 2600 at a second hand store when I was a kid, though it's been harder to find time for it now with three kids in the house, and my predominantly game-related YouTube channel is just shy of three million views. The 10 years at the paper also turned me into a bit of a photography buff and I still find myself answering odd photography-related questions at the most random times. Whether or not you're in the market for a vehicle right now, feel free to swing by and chat.
I grew up in Bonnyville and originally my family is from Nova Scotia. Right after high school graduation I got my first job on a commercial construction site at CFB Wainwright. I spent roughly 10 years in the oilfield industry, before I decided I wanted to pursue a new career. I’ve always loved meeting new people and getting to know them - so something in sales seemed fitting. In my free time I love to play hockey, golf and video games. I am very happy to be a part of the Norris Ford Sales team, and look forward to serving you in your automotive needs.
Curtis was born and raised in Wainwright, was educated at Blessed Sacrament School, and grew up playing many sports and being a part of many clubs including the Greenshields 4H Multi Club. After graduating High School, he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management from Mount Royal University in a collaboration program through Red Deer College. He gained valuable Automotive Sales experience at a Ford Dealership in Red Deer where he met his now Fiancé, who is from Vermilion. They both moved back home in 2019 where Curtis began work in the Service Department here at Norris Ford. In 2021 Curtis transitioned to the Sales team is looking forward to many exciting opportunities and years ahead! Curtis would love to assist you with you new or used vehicle buying needs- please give him a call, send him an email, or drop by anytime!
Financial Services Advisor
Having been raised in rural Alberta and then spending many years on the West Coast, I am happy to have joined the Wainwright community and the great group of people at Norris Ford. I enjoy living in the country (surrounded by buffalo), travelling, golf, curling, baseball and tennis. As a customer service professional and an automotive enthusiast, I look forward to assisting you in any way that I can!
Lisa was born and raised in the Irma area. While her son was young, she worked at the Wainwright Communiplex and then moved on to Rodnunsky Law Office after college. After working in the legal field for numerous years, she eagerly jumped head-first into the new challenge that Norris Ford provides, when she took on a maternity leave coverage position in our Admin department. She dazzled so well in that position, that we just couldn't bear to see her go, so we were delighted when she accepted the BDC Coordinator position in our Service Department in 2022. Lisa looks forward to helping you with all of your automotive service needs at your next visit!
I live on a rural farm near Paradise Valley with my husband and children. Together we enjoy spending winters at the hockey rink watching our youngest play, and summers are usually spent on the farm, around the fire, or at the lake. After completing a number of programs including Office Administration and Keyboarding, I was excited to get the opportunity to start my new career at Norris Ford. After initially working for a year at reception, I was offered the opportunity to continue to grow my skills as part of the parts and service team, and I have enjoyed the switch to my current position as service advisor. I look forward to continuing to serve as part of the Norris Ford Family!
I have been in the automotive service industry for over 10 years. If it has wheels, I love it! I am an avid hockey fan and devoted to the Chicago Blackhawks. Outside of work I am a family man, with 1 son, 1 daughter and 2 step-daughters. I come from a big family of 10 brothers and sisters and enjoy spending every minute I possibly can with my family.
Shane has been with the Norris Ford service family since 2000. Shane has over three decades of experience in the automotive business. As our shop foreman, we count on Shane’s experience and constant thirst to “get to the root of any problem” daily. As soon as the snow melts, you can count on Shane to roll up to the shop in his Harley Davidson, the only thing he loves more than his Ford!
Norris Ford’s only Female Technician! Jen is Ford Diesel certified, and insists that the mess beside the vehicle she’s currently working on is “Always hers!”. Jen is a part of the Apprenticeship Board, encouraging other young women to consider a career path in the trades.
Norris Ford is thrilled to have Mark Nemyo on our service team. Mark was born & raised here in Wainwright, and knew from a young age that he wanted to work in the automotive service industry. After he finished high school, he felt he needed to try something new, and moved to Lethbridge, where he became a journeyman automotive technician. Ten years later, after getting married (and expanding his family by many four-legged friends!), Mark and his wife decided that it was time to come 'home', and they made the trek back to Wainwright in the Spring of 2019. In the time that we've known him, Mark has proven to be a diligent, efficient employee, and a friendly & fun coworker. We're happy to have him as part of our Norris Ford family, and look forward to many successful years together!

We are so excited that Ryan made the trip to Canada to join our Norris Ford family!!

Cole was born and raised in Wainwright. He graduated from the W.H.S and joined our Norris Ford family shortly after. He enjoys football, hockey, but mostly motocross. Cole will travel to the all lengths of Alberta and Saskatchewan to take part in Canadian Motorsport Racing Corporation events. Although his love for risk and speed is a bit extreme for us, we enjoy his exciting, friendly demeanor. Cole has proven to be a great employee with a strong work ethic and we look forward to many more successful years together,

After being home with our kids for a few years, I was thrilled to take on a part-time position in the Marketing Department in 2019. When I was offered the chance to expand my role by joining the Collision Centre team, I happily accepted, and am very much enjoying my current position as Collision Centre Advisor. I love when we can find ways to help make the stressful process of having your vehicle repaired after an accident even a little bit more comfortable. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you, whenever you need us!

They have both thoroughly enjoyed settling in to the local community.
